Lowther Show – a great Lakeland day out

Lowther Show is a great Lakeland day out

Lowther Show takes place on the weekend of 12 and 13 August 2017. This is a great Lakeland day out, set in the grounds of the magnificent Lowther Estate.

This great event is a traditional country show, with emphasis on the country skills traditionally an essential part of life in Britain’s Countryside.

Watch horse driving trials. These are a great show of skill, and in previous years HRH The Duke of Edinburgh always took part in these trials.
