There is a vibrant music scene in the Lake District, covering every type of music. As a visitor to the Lake District why not check out music events during your stay. From Classical concerts to the most modern music festivals the Lake District has much to offer.

December 2018 Music in the Lake District.

On Saturday 8 December Ambleside Choral Society hold their Christmas Concert at 7.30 pm in St Mary’s Church Ambleside. The programme is Parts 1-3 of Bach’s great Christmas Oratorio, followed by carols for the choir and audience.

There is a brilliant local orchestra and some excellent profession soloists. Kick start your Christmas! Tickets available on the door £12 which includes a glass of wine.
