After a pretty mild winter there are already signs of spring in the Lake District. The daffodils are out, the days are getting longer, and it’s still fairly quiet in the National Park . 

It’s a great time to refresh yourselves with a break to enjoy great walks from the door, fabulous views and a comfortable cosy cottage to come home to.

Snowdrops- the first sign of spring

You’ll probably want to visit Dove Cottage and see the exhibitions at The Wordsworth Trust, just down the lane from Brockstone Cottage.

For a trip to the theatre here’s the link to our wonderful Theatre by the Lake, Keswick.

For cinema, live music, great vegetarian food and a lovely evening out (go for the meal/cinema combined ticket) it’s Zeffirellis and Fellinis Ambleside.
