We always suggest to potential guests that they book direct. It’s much better value for them- saving over £100 on most occasions. However, some people, especially overseas guests do prefer to book though an online booking portal, and we do offer bookings via VRBO ( formerly HomeAway). Here’s a link to our reviews on their site

We’ve been 100% fully booked every week so far in 2022, but some gaps are coming up in the next couple of months, so we’re putting on some special offers.
With the chaos at airports and the channel crossings, the idea of just driving to a lovely calm week away in the Lake District is very attractive. We’ve even had guests this week (just following on from the 40 degree heatwave) saying how lovely it is to be in the cooler Lakes, and how they’ve loved seeing some rain !!!!
