Places to visit in a Lake District Autumn

No visit to Grasmere and the Lake District is complete without visiting The Wordsworth Trust, just 10 minute’s walk down the road from Brockstone Grasmere Cottage.

A 20 minute walk in the other direction to Rydal Village , via the famous Coffin Road Walk , will take you to Rydal Mount, home to William Wordsworth in his later years. This is one of many wonderful walks from the door of Brockstone Grasmere Cottage.

Rydal Hall Gardens always worth a visit

Take a trip to the Theatre by the Lake at Keswick for live theatre in a beautiful setting.

For movies and special events, live music and good food you must visit Zeffirellis and Fellini’s Ambleside.

Visit one of the many National Trust Lake District  properties .
